László Acsády research professor at the Institute of Experimental Medicine Thalamus Research Group, won for his outstanding research in the field of „Discovery of a fundamental regional difference in the long range cortical communication that can help to understand the regional heterogeneity of normal and pathological brain activity.”

Csaba Matta associate professor at the University of Debrecen, Faculty of Medicine Department of Anatomy, Histology and Embryology, won for his outstanding research in the field of „Deciphering the transcriptomic landscape of chondrogenic cells during cartilage formation to improve cartilage tissue engineering.”

Bálint Kintses senior research associate at the Institute of Biochemistry Synthetic and Systems Biology Unit at the HUN-REN Biological Research Centre Szeged, won for his outstanding research in the field of „Modeling the development of antibiotic resistance directly within pathogenic bacteria, using reprogrammed bacteriophages.”

András Garami associate professor at the University of Pécs Medical School Institute for Translational Medicine, won for his outstanding research in the field of „Regular consumption of hot pepper reduces blood cholesterol level.”
